This Privacy Policy describes how Aivora ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Aivora mobile application ("the App") and related services (collectively, "the Services").

By using Aivora, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use the App, you may provide us with:

  • Chat messages and prompts — text and content you send to our AI services for processing.
  • Image generation prompts — descriptions you submit to generate AI images.
  • App preferences — language, theme, voice settings, and other customizations stored locally on your device.
  • Subscription information — when you purchase Aivora Pro, payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we receive only a transaction receipt, never your payment details.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information — device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage data — features used, interactions with the App, session duration, and crash reports.
  • Advertising identifiers — IDFA (iOS) or AAID (Android) for ad personalization, only with your consent.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your real name, email, or phone number (unless you contact support)
  • Your contacts, photos, or files (unless you explicitly grant access for a feature)
  • Precise location data
  • Biometric information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide AI chat, image generation, and content creation features
  • Improve the App's performance and fix bugs
  • Enforce usage limits for free-tier users
  • Display relevant advertising to free-tier users
  • Process subscription purchases and entitlements
  • Communicate with you about support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our Services

3. Third-Party Services

Aivora relies on third-party services to provide its core functionality. These services have their own privacy policies:

  • OpenAI — AI chat and image generation is powered by OpenAI. Your prompts are transmitted to OpenAI for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Firebase — we use Firebase for backend functions, analytics, and crash reporting. See Firebase Privacy Information.
  • Google AdMob — we serve advertisements to free-tier users via AdMob. See Google Privacy Policy.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — handle all subscription payments and billing.

4. Advertising

Free-tier users see advertisements served by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android).

  • iOS users — we will ask for your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt before any ad tracking occurs.
  • EU/UK users — we use a Google-certified consent management platform to collect GDPR consent before serving personalized ads.
  • Aivora Pro subscribers — see no ads, and no advertising data is collected.

5. Data Retention

Chat messages and image prompts are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers. Chat history is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

Anonymous usage analytics and crash reports are retained for up to 14 months.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption for all data in transit, secret management for API keys, and restricted access to backend systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Aivora is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict processing of your information
  • Withdraw consent for advertising or analytics
  • File a complaint with a data protection authority

9. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell your data), and the right to non-discrimination. Contact privacy@aivora.app to exercise these rights.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States where our backend servers are hosted. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for these transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
